Applicable from 30 December 2025 for large companies and 30 June 2026 for SMEs. The EUDR applies to cocoa, coffee, oile de palme, soja, bois, caoutchouc et produits dérivés.
1. What is the EUDR?
EU Regulation 2023/1115 prohibits the placing on the European market of products from deforested land after 31 December 2020. It requires operators to prove their products have not contributed to deforestation or forest degradation.
2. What this means for you
- 01Your plots must be geolocated (coordonnées GPS de chaque polygone)
- 02You must prove that these lands were not forest on 31/12/2020
- 03Vos acheteurs UE devront submit a due diligence statement (Due Diligence Statement)
- 04La certification Rainforest Alliance ou UTZ facilitates compliance but is not sufficient alone
