Value chain overview

Cameroon is one of the main palm oil producers in Central Africa. Regional demand exceeds supply, and the quality vegetable oil market (artisanal red palm oil, pure groundnut oil) offers significant premium opportunities.

The palm oil value chain is strategic but polarised between large industrial groups (SOCAPALM, CDC) and millions of smallholder producers with no structuring or market access. XP-NOVA works on structuring the artisanal and semi-industrial segment.
