Project description

Full support for a cooperative of 320 cocoa producers towards EUDR compliance and Rainforest Alliance certification. The project covers geospatial mapping, traceability system implementation, Good Agricultural Practices training and European premium market access.

Objectives

  • Map and register 1,840 ha of cocoa farms via GPS
  • Train 320 producers in GAP and EUDR requirements
  • Set up a digital traceability system (QR codes on batches)
  • Obtain Rainforest Alliance certification by December 2025
  • Negotiate and secure premium contracts with 3 European chocolate makers
